A ‘strictly come dancing’ inspired Christmas party look…

I was called upon by my favourite model and good friend Sophie to do her makeup for a Christmas party she was attending in London, as part of her model agency, Bridge Models.  As Sophie was to mingle with models and clients alike, her makeup needed to be flawless, semi-natural, elegant yet with a festive feel – so it had to be multi functional, AND work very hard for her.

Sophie wanted a smokey eye which I created using soft to medium browns, adding a touch of sparkle through the centre of the eye.  I then neatly lined the top lid and carried on with the browns underneath the eye.  I then popped on a little mascara and added false eyelashes by Eylure in No.114.  Neatly filling in the brows to finish the eye design.  I then moved onto adding three thin layers of foundation (a bespoke mixture I have made for Sophie to help her skin breath during shoots) adding a little contouring, blusher and using setting powder all over the face.  I then created a bespoke lip colour for the event, using various MAC shades in similar shimmery pinks.  To finish I then dusted a slightly sparkly pink shade over the cheeks to give an extra festive feel x
